Mexico City’s art scene is a vibrant tapestry of creativity and innovation, with a wealth of galleries showcasing the works of both established and emerging artists. Enrique Guerrero Gallery was founded in 1997 after a decade of intense collaboration between cultural institutions. Today, the gallery represents a group of young artists who are part of the emerging scene, with a contemporary vision and self-sustainable proposals, exploring all disciplines currently encompassing the visual arts: painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, and digital media. Providing them with a free space in which they can exhibit their artistic creation and also promote their work nationally and internationally.

Founded by Luis Adelantado in 1985 in Valencia (Spain), has focused on promoting contemporary art. In 2009, the Luis Adelantado Gallery opens a new space in Mexico City. This new challenge is presented as a logical achievement, after a close relationship with the Mexico culture. The new gallery, with an area of ​​1500 m2, is located in a cultural area near Polanco, where the Jumex Museum and the Soumay Museum are located. The marked interdisciplinary nature of the gallery project makes the uniqueness of the space conducive to multiple possibilities for dialogue, which is why on-site projects are an important part of the programming.

Arróniz arises from a specific interest in working with a new generation of artists from Mexico and Latin America. Our main drive is the close and constant support and follow-up of our artists’ careers, in both local and international settings. A fundamental part of our work relies on exchanges with galleries from other countries as well as participation in international fairs.

Proyectos Monclova is a gallery established in 2005 in Mexico City that has become one of the most important forums for contemporary art. In 2015, a new direction steered its trajectory, aiming to facilitate dialogues between national and international artists of different generations, including Eduardo Terrazas, Fred Sandback, Martín Soto Climent, Josephine Meckseper, Tercerunquinto, Helen Escobedo, and Chantal Peñalosa.

In addition to representing artists and maintaining a committed exhibition program, the gallery publishes books and catalogs. Among the most recent titles are: “The Properties of Light: Luis Barragán-Fred Sandback,” “Restoration of a Mural Painting: Tercerunquinto 2000-2015,” and “Robert C. Morgan: Works 1967-2017.”

kurimanzutto is a contemporary art gallery founded in 1999 by Mónica Manzutto and José Kuri which was created to support a generation of young Mexican artists. The gallery is a space which supports criticism and research, welcoming the development of risky projects rarely seen in commercial galleries focusing on the artists and prioritizing creative innovation above all else.

RGR Gallery is a space dedicated to the trajectory of optical, kinetic, and abstract-geometric art through modernity and contemporaneity. Considering the value of aesthetic language and the impact that these artistic currents have had on the relationship between artwork, artist, and spectator, the gallery seeks to represent the work of artists with established careers, as well as emerging artists who rethink and activate in new ways the theoretical and aesthetic lines of kinetism and abstraction.

Let There Be Art is interested in articulating international proposals, fostering cultural exchange within plastic arts, and opening an interpretive path to the entirety of knowledge and production practices.

Its work focuses on creating a platform with solid proposals, both in their originality and in their creative development, including artists with long, medium, and growing trajectories.

Galería OMR, founded in 1983, is located in a building from the early 20th century, in the heart of the Colonia Roma. Since its inception, OMR has sought to promote new trends in contemporary art, both Mexican and international.

Aguafuerte Galería, since 2005, has been evolving into a vital space for showcasing contemporary art by both national and international artists, established and emerging, from diverse artistic disciplines. Over 13 years, we have developed numerous activities, including exhibitions, art workshops, book presentations, and auctions, with the participation of over a thousand artists, allowing us to build a database of more than 50,000 individuals (collectors, artists, companies, and art-loving general public).

Le Laboratoire is an art platform in Mexico. As an art incubator and bridge between artists and market players, its goals include supporting gallery artists and developing new artistic projects.
